At HST, we follow rigorous vetting and quality checks. We work with schools, charities and local authorities who demand the highest level of safeguarding. We are members of the Tutor’s Association and follow their strict code of conduct.
We are a family-run business and our benchmark for a good tutor is one that we would engage ourselves for our family members.
Why don't you have lists of tutors to choose from?
Our commitment to personalised tutoring means we don’t publish lists of tutors on our website. We carefully match each student with the most suitable tutor based on their unique needs, goals, and learning style. This approach ensures a tailored and effective learning experience, maintaining privacy and security for both tutors and students.
What if I don't like the tutor?
The bond between a tutor and student is crucial to the learning process. If you find that your tutor isn’t the right fit for any reason, don’t hesitate to contact your area advisor. They will promptly address the issue and work to find a resolution or a more suitable replacement, ensuring your satisfaction with the tutoring experience.
What checks do you do?
As part of our robust safeguarding process, we ensure that our tutors all have a current enhanced DBS certificate. We seek professional references and check every tutor’s qualifications.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation Policy is 48 hours but in the case of occasional sickness, our tutors will use their discretion and endeavour to reschedule the missed session to a mutually convenient time.
